Move over Grace & Frankie, you’re about the meet Sandy & Norman, sort of.
Michael Douglas & Alan Arkin are poised to appear in a new Netflix comedy, The Kominsky Method.
To be written by Chuck Lorre, it centres on Sandy Kominsky (Douglas), an actor who years ago had a brief fling with success and is now a revered Hollywood acting coach. Arkin plays his long-suffering agent and friend, Norman.
The series will mark Douglas’ first major series role since his breakout starring turn on the 1972 The Streets Of San Francisco.

This sounds like the making of an old Hollywood fling to me, if done well it could prove popular for those who like the clash of the venerable Hollywood clique with the new generations of Producers, Directors and self obsessed career actors.
