Nine wins Tuesday, ABC shows upstaging Seven, TEN.

Ratings: ABC shows landed second in their timeslots at 7pm, 7:30pm, 8pm and 8:30pm last night.

ABC shows had another night of upstaging commercial offerings from Seven and TEN, landing second in their timeslots at 7pm, 7:30pm, 8pm and 8:30pm last night, but the night again belonged to Nine.

The Block drew 1.04m ahead of The House with Annabel Crabb / 7:30, Hell’s Kitchen, Shark Tank and Great American Railroad Journeys.

True Story with Hamish & Andy won its timeslot but was down by 138,000 viewers. It was enough to stay ahead of Catalyst, NCIS and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares USA and Insight.

Seven News and ACA were both winners, with Nine dominant across the demos for the night.

Nine network won Tuesday with 29.6% then Seven 25.9%, TEN 20.2%, ABC 16.8% and SBS 7.5%.

The Block was best for Nine with 1.04m then Nine News (960,000 / 929,000), A Current Affair (824,000), True Story with Hamish & Andy (766,000) Kath & Kim (476,000 / 393,000) and Hot Seat (469,000 / 249,000).

Seven News was #1 for Seven with (1.05m / 982,000), followed by Home and Away (702,000), The Chase (626,000 / 419,000),  Hell’s Kitchen Australia (540,000) and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares USA (390,000). First Dates UK was 203,000.

The Project (553,000 / 358,000) led TEN’s night then TEN Eyewitness News (471,000), Shark Tank (461,000), NCIS (442,000 / 299,000) and Family Feud (359,000).

ABC News (725,000), The House with Annabel Crabb (603,000), 7:30 (575,000), Catalyst (492,000) and City in the Sky (284,000) comprised ABC’s night.

On SBS it was Great American Railroad Journeys (333,000), Insight (317,000), Dateline (187,000) and SBS World News (144,000).

Shaun the Sheep‘s winning streak on multichannels continues at 247,000.

  1. I was on SBS….yes trains…and Insight was an eyeopener about older women being homeless…some in the blink of an eye….also Dateline was excellent piece of reporting….

  2. We watched Ep 3 of Top of the Lake on iView followed by 2x eps of White Gold on netflix……if you liked The Inbetweeners and some of the early 80s music you may like White Gold (we thought it was great)

  3. So Nine wins yet again. Boring! Only benefit of Nine winning is that we don’t get Sully’s ratings report (presumably because Seven isn’t doing so well). Watched Great American Railroad Journeys on SBS last night. Love this show.
