Renewed: Friends from College

Netflix renews new comedy about a group of friends from Harvard facing their 40s.

Netflix has renewed its new comedy Friends From College for a second season.

The series which launched just last month is back for 8 more episodes. Featuring as a group of friends from Harvard facing their 40s are Keegan-Michael Key (Ethan), Cobie Smulders (Lisa), Annie Parisse (Sam), Nat Faxon (Nick), Fred Savage (Max) and Jae Suh Park (Marianne).

With interwoven and oftentimes complicated relationships with one another, Friends From College is a comedic exploration of old friendships, former romantic entanglements and balancing adult life with nostalgia for the past.

The series was co-created by Nicholas Stoller (Neighbors, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get Him to the Greek) and Francesca Delbanco, who also serve as executive producers. Stoller also directs the series and Delbanco serves as a writer.

  1. With Netflix not renewing a few things, Im surprised this is getting a second dance… Even tho i persevered and watched it all, and while there were some actual funny moments.

The problem was none of the characters are very likeable and they all have very few redeeming qualities about them, after it ended it also didnt want me thinking oh gosh i hope there is a 2nd season to see what happens to them all as they really are beyond caring about!!!
