Transparent creator Jill Soloway is stepping down from day-to-day showrunner duties for its fifth season.
Jill Gordon (Heartbeat, 90210, My So-Called Life, The Wonder Years, Doogie Howser MD) has joined the show as the new showrunner and executive producer.
Soloway will still be writing, directing and executive producing Transparent but will also be working on other projects with Amazon.
I Love Dick is waiting on a second season renewal whilst movie Ten Aker Wood is also in the pipeline.
Transparent Season 4 premieres on Stan on September 23rd ahead of a playout on Amazon down the track.
