Nine still has grip on Mondays

Ratings: Nine wins early evening from 7pm onwards, but will This Time Next Year be back before 2019?

Nine enjoyed another strong Monday with winning shows early evening from 7pm onwards.

The Block topped the night with 1.33m viewers -just enough to rank as its best Monday so far- and topping the demos. That was again twice the size of Highway Patrol, 7:30 and Australian Survivor, down on last Monday.

A final This Time Next Year on 803,000 was down on last week’s 876,000 -it’s unlikely we will see the show again before 2019. Have You Been Paying Attention? took second place, also down. Four Corners and Little Boy Blue followed.

Seven enjoyed wins with Seven News and The Chase -well in front of a struggling Hot Seat.

  1. I remember not so long ago that people will pop the bubbly when ABC managed to come third, these days nobody blinks an eye when 10 slips into 4th spot…I wonder how CBS feels about that and what they going to do to fix it.

  2. Really enjoying this season of Survivor. Such a pity the ratings doesn’t reflect it. Enjoying the constant changes to alliances particularly due to the back and forth of team mates between the two tribes in recent weeks, makes who’s on top change constantly. Loving Henry but predict he will get the chop soon enough. He’s so smart at this game – better than AK ?
