TEN’s Live coverage of the Bathurst 1000 this weekend begins at 12 midday (AEDT) on Friday.
Matt White will lead the commentary team, alongside Mark Larkham and Rick Kelly plus reporters Mark Howard and Kate Peck.
The fight between the Red Bull Holden Racing Team and Shell V-Power Racing Team has pushed Prodrive Racing Australia into the shadows this year, with the Melbourne-based team winning just two races prior to Sandown.
However, the Ford squad fired up last month, taking a double podium at Sandown, led by first-time winners Cam Waters and Richie Stanaway. The result was the perfect prelude to Bathurst and on the eve of the great race, the Supercars Championship is tight. The scene is set for one of the most competitive battles ever seen on Mount Panorama.
Broadcast details: (all times are AEDT) on TEN:
Friday 6 October. 12.00pm – 5.00pm AEDT
Saturday 7 October. 11.30am – 6.00pm AEDT.
Sunday 8 October. 7.30am – 6.00pm AEDT.

you forgot to include that TEN’s coverage will include a block of 8-12 ads every 10-13mins .
The administrators got to get paid somehow?
Well, yeah – it’s commercial TV. That’s what they do.
In other news, commercial FTA still pretends to be puzzled why viewers are turning to Foxtel & streaming services…
thats the reason i will be watching on Foxtel and rec the F1 from japan then watching that when the race is over
Get ready for ads then on Foxtel. As the Great Race is simulcast on TEN & FOX Sports. So when TEN goes to a break so does Foxtel for the duration of that time
With the new F1 deal I’m hoping this is not happening again this year for the Supercars… but it probably will. That said it will only happen when they are taking the same live footage, so the race and qualifying sessions at most.
you forgot support categories too when Ten is simulcasting the races.
I assume Ten are taking Foxtel pictures?
Produced by V8 Supercars if I am not mistaken.
I’m impressed, Mr Knox!
(If someone were to be pedantic, they might point out that it’s now just “Supercars TV” as ‘V8’ was dropped in prep for allowing other engine configurations from next year).
