I was a little unsure about Sophie as the bachelorette but it has worked out well. I know it is a TV show but it seems she at least is a lot more honest than some before her. Her awkwardness just adds to the show…
Last night’s Get Krack!n was a series best, packed full of brilliantly subversive comedy. My favourite gag was the tickerline that read : “Koming up : UB40. Sorry.”
Like so many unsubs, it appears Criminal Minds days are numbered
Watched Riviera with some trepidation last night and it was better than I expected. In fact, I thought it was ok even with the clunky dialogue. Opening 5 minutes was a bit confusing – like I was being given a recap from eps I had missed.
Not sure how this will go over ten episodes or whether I’ll make it that far but I’ll check back in next week.
The Block is building to a huge finale
Family Feud must be making money for TEN with those boardgames. I did really enjoy it when it started but it certainly seems like it needs a rest. However if what you mentioned last week is true, it moves to Sydney, well its not getting canned anytime soon then eh?
TEN has not denied the shift.
Its a shame the numbers aren’t better, they should hopefully give it a refresh (spruce up the set, bigger prizemoney), it started off quite hot, but doing figures in the 2s and 3s at the start in winter can’t be good!
It shouldn’t be in prime time. Dated daytime fodder at best.
FF is a show that quickly gets boring. Used to watch every night but haven’t for ages other than occasionally it being left on prior to playing back the news – last time we did that we couldn’t wait to get it off.
These games shows (Hot Seat and The Chase included) should not run every weeknight every week all year round – they should be seasonal with other other shows or game shows in those slots to minimise monotony.
In game show hey days – the 80’s – the game shows back then would be off for part of the year.
I didn’t pick that ending on the wrong girl. I thought it would be the other way around and Lily would call it off. Will be tuning in next week to see what happens next.
