Dave Hughes films new TEN panel show

Dave Hughes has begun filming a new panel show to help the people of Australia get over life’s infuriating problems.

Dave Hughes has begun filming a new panel show, Hughesy, We Have A Problem in Sydney.

“I’m a sensitive guy who just wants everyone to be happy and doesn’t want any problems. So I’m dead keen to do a TV show where we solve problems and make everyone happy. Hopefully,” he said.

Network TEN Executive Producer, Paul Leadon, said:  “We’re excited to have Hughsey back on TEN, especially to head up such a funny and fresh new show. He’s the perfect fit for a program that solves your trickiest personal problems and makes you laugh at the same time.”

On Rove, he fronted a regular segment known as “Help me Hughesy.” More recently the former Project regular has been part of Nine’s AFL Footy Show.

Hughesy, We Have A Problem in Sydney will air in 2018.

Dave Hughes’ brand new show Hughesy, We Have a Problem brings together the biggest names in comedy and entertainment for a truly noble cause: to help the people of Australia get over life’s infuriating problems.

Marking his return to TEN and WIN Network in a hosting role, beloved comedian Hughsey wants to take the problems experienced by everyday Australians – the big, small and the incredibly awkward – and turn them into working solutions.

From how to handle infidelity to solving who gets to hold the television remote, there is no problem too big, small, funny or difficult for Hughesy and the team to tackle.

Each episode, Hughsey is joined by four of Australia’s funniest comedians who offer searingly honest and hilarious insights as they help untangle the messiness of modern life.

  1. Hughesy’s show sounds great.. but I’m more interested in the presser mentioning both TEN and its regional affiliate. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Seven or Nine doing the same. Is this something to appease old Brucey? ‘You didn’t get us, but we still love you!’.

  2. 4 comedians will offer solutions to everyday problems? Isn’t “sensible comedian” an oxymoron? Good luck Dave, don’t stand still ‘cos the audience has some rotten tomatoes. BTW Tip 6 on your “Hughesy’s Family Holiday Tips” video says “Pick an easy desination!”. Ruper won’t be happy.
