New pricing for Foxtel broadband bundle

Foxtel realigns pricing for its Unlimited Broadband service.

Foxtel has announced new pricing for its broadband bundling.

Existing customers can access Unlimited Broadband + Home Phone for $75 per month, with no set-up fees on a 24 month contract.

HD Platinum customers get the same for $65 per month with no lock-in contract.

For new customers who add an Entertainment pack on a 24 month plan, pricing starts at $101 a month.

Foxtel recently expanded its availability of nbn services, to include access to Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC), alongside Fibre-to-the-Node (FTTN), Fibre-to-the-Building (FTTB) and Fibre-to-the-Premise (FTTP) serviceable areas across Australia.

Peter Tonagh, Foxtel CEO said, “At Foxtel, we are passionate about entertainment whether you’re watching a live game or bingeing on The Walking Dead. That’s why we pride ourselves on being a Broadband provider where your service is specifically built for entertainment with nbn, unlimited streaming, a modem optimised for video, and HD certification from YouTube. We are also committed to our loyal customers, which is why we are offering our Platinum subscribers a compelling low price, we won’t charge any upfront fees, and they can enjoy the flexibility of a no lock-in contract.

“With the addition of HFC, we have secured the most important broadband technologies and can now service over 92 percent of Australian households with either ADSL or nbn connectivity. Our new pricing puts us in a very competitive position and whether you’re an existing Foxtel customer or new to our service, our bundles are exceptionally attractive.”

  1. It’s true that nobody has a home phone anymore, but most companies seem to bundle one in to their NBN plans for no reason. It’s fine, just don’t plug a phone in to your modem.

I have no idea what the number is that is assigned to my service, have never used it, have never thought about using it. Just why…

People don’t even really make phone calls from their mobiles anymore, though I suppose this happens more than landline use.

  2. Thanks heaps David we have Foxtel HD platinum and are looking for a new broadband package was on the verge of going with TPG but will definitely check out Foxtel now

  3. They need another plan which has no home phone, nobody my age (35) or younger who I know has or wants a home phone. This is the reason I left iiNet and moved to TPG, iiNet could not offer me an unlimited plan without home phone.
