  1. David when will 9 announce their international titles.
plus Pia Miller will she still do home and away and BiteClub or has left home and away.
plus- what other sporting events besides NRL, SOO, Cricket, Netball and Santos DownUnder will there be on 9

  2. Bite Club would benefit from streaming the entire series in one hit, like the ABC has done with some shows. Given it isn’t ‘middle of the road’ dramas like other 9 dramas e.g. DD and HH it risks not being successful like that drama that appeared in the fourth quarter last year on Monday nights. Readers on TVT want shows with a difference but the masses like DD etc. (I watch DD but find it a little boring and predictable). Here’s hoping it’s successful but 9 (and other commercial networks)!need to move with the times and embrace streaming like Netflix does.
Thanks David for the comprehensive details.

  3. For me it looks like another year without watching channel 9. I’m assumig they’re holding off on releasing their details for international content as they are probably still shuffling them around and working out which ones they will on sell to Foxtel or move over to Stan, or stuff around the Nine schedule before pulling out and never returning.

    1. Yeah I’ll give the dramas a chance as they aren’t the Doctor Doctor/800 Words boring formula… they might just implement something a bit different with Bite Club and Underbelly. Nothing else bar Talkin’ Bout Your Generation (for nostalgic reasons) I will give breath too…

  4. Delta Goodrem’s return as The Voice judge will affect the screening of Olivia Newton-John mini-series on Seven, which Delta stars in. If her contract with The Voice starts on January 1, then she may not be available to help promote the ONJ mini-series until The Voice finishes in July. This will push the mini-series to mid-year.

  5. Nice to officially know that Hot Seat and The AFL Footy Show will return in 2018.

Will Hot Seat need to change their format again? Some say they might need to because of low ratings. Has Hot Seat actually beaten The Chase Australia in ratings at least once in 2017 so far?

  6. David have 9 choosen a place for the Block 2019 or are they still deciding that. anyway word on Mcleods Daughters and will HouseHusbands and LoveChild be back at all.
i like the bite club and cant wait for Underbelly.

  7. Airing Love Island on 9Go will be an interesting gamble. Good on them for trying to launch a noisy local production on a subchannel instead of just loading second-rate US/UK imports onto it.

Driving Test sounds similar to Seven’s short lived Last Chance Learners (which still gets rereun at about 1am every now and then).
