Sarah Jessica Parker has confirmed there will be no third feature film for Sex and the City (phew!).
“It’s over… we’re not doing it”, she has said. “I’m disappointed. We had this beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story. It’s not just disappointing that we don’t get to tell the story and have that experience, but more so for that audience that has been so vocal in wanting another movie.”
UK press reported that Warner Bros had shelved the film due to “outrageous demands” made by Kim Cattrall, alleging she would only return if the studio produced a number of other films she had in development.
But Cattrall denied the claims on Twitter.
“The only ‘DEMAND’ I ever made was that I didn’t want to do a 3rd film….& that was back in 2016.”

The TV series was fantastic and the first movie was a perfect way to finish. It should have ended there.
