In Nine’s Upfronts last week there was no mention of Richard Wilkins’ interview show The A List.
The show, announced a year ago, was scheduled for a June screening but pulled before launch.
The 8 part series, described as resembling Inside the Actors Studio, includes interviews with Tom Cruise, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Kylie & Kendall Jenner and Hugh Jackman.
A Nine spokesperson told TV Tonight the show was completed but had been held up with music licensing rights.
“So coming soon,” they assured. “Or in 2018.”

Good thing his guests are still alive, otherwise by the time it does broadcast, it will be further evident of how old the interviews are.
Coming soon to a saturday afternoon more like it. When the spokesperson told you it had ‘been held up with music licensing rights’ that’s contemptuous spin.
