9 Comments:

  1. With nothing over the magic million again during an official ratings period, it does seem that the people of Australia have looked at the offerings provided and offered a collective “meh”.

It could be that the networks are deliberately running dead. Certainly the quality of what is on offer leaves me in dread of what the non-ratings period will encompass – Repeats of The Block perhaps? Extra special prime time infomercials brought to you by miracle berries? repeats of the best station I.D.s from the year past?

    I am giddy with excitement.

  2. With the commercial channels boring as hell at the moment, it is good to see that ABC is booming in ratings performance 🙂

Wanted to post about Doc Martin last late night but decided not to wake David up so I will say it now instead.

Doc Martin is the best season yet on ABC and we are enjoying it very much. Had to catch it on Freeview Plus. The quality is excellent now but the navigation Menu is worse than be4. Why? Time they make it easier to use now that they have the quality spot on. We have NBN FTTP, so a very fast good quality internet connection and thus the quality pictures.

Have to make sure we watch it live this coming week though. I am not surprised it topped the ratings table 🙂
