P!nk unhappy with The Loop

P!nk isn’t very impressed with a tweet ELEVEN’s The Loop sent out following the American Music Awards.
The image taken of her while Christina Aguilera sang a Whitney Houston tribute was posted far and wide online. While some presumed the pic meant she was cringing from Aguilera’s performance, later video showed she was in tears by the end.

“Christina f—ing killed it tonight for one of our favorite singers ever,” P!nk tweeted.
“This about Whitney, and I am in awe of Christina’s talent. Show the clip where I’m in tears, you negative Nancy’s.”

In a statement to news.com.au, a spokesman for The Loop said, “We are flattered that a global megastar noticed a tweet from The Loop. Everyone at The Loop is a massive fan of Pink and we had no intention of offending her.”

Hey! I thought Pink was all about Love,forgiveness and understanding?
Or is that just to sell records……..?
I know celebrities are raised up on a pedestal because they can sing, but she is not a real hero like a Nurse, Doctor,Firefighter or Paramedic, so I wouldn’t be too concerned about the “offended Megastar” who spits the dummy at you so easily. 😉
Why has a little video show like The Loop been singled out by P!NK ? Many others were saying the same sort of thing, including Pete and Meshel on The Project.
Yes I noted it went wide. I avoided posting it because I saw the whole video. Often when you are in the room you are overwhelmed by the whole experience and don’t notice the odd bum note.
The Loop is a stupid show and needs to be replaced by Video Hits.
Only if there are no hosts a la rage. Introducing hosts with their inane, idiotic banter was the worst thing to happen to Video Hits and I hadn’t watched since. I’m not keen on The Loop either as it seems to follow the same format. Now that Eleven is even more barren post-FOX, I think TEN should just rebrand it as a music channel. I’ve always wanted a 24/7 music channel on FTA.
@ Zoodle…totally agree…music..not waffling…I rarely watch Rage now…for the same reason…And music channel sounds great….I would stream that….instead of chasing youtube vids…
The Loop is a stupid show and needs to be replaced by Night Shift with David White. And maybe Basia Bonkowski.
She may have been crying but man it was a bad performance by Christina.
