Stan launches No Activity (US)

Stan last night held a premiere screening of the US adaptation of its comedy series, No Activity in Gold Class at Event Cinemas, George Street, Sydney.

Darren Gilshenan (pictured right with Stan CEO Mike Sneesby, left) & Susie Youssef both attended the screening joined by Matt Okine (The Other Guy), John Jarratt, Matt Day & Jason Chong (all Wolf Creek).

The US version of the stake-out comedy, from executive producers Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Funny Or Die, is set against the world of a major drug cartel bust.

The cast includes Patrick Brammall and Tim Meadows as two low-level cops who have spent far too much time in a car together.

Guest stars include Mark Berry, Arturo Castro, Mackenzie Davis, Bridget Everett, Will Ferrell, Darren Gilshenan, Travis Guba, Jake Johnson, Sunita Mani, Jason Mantzoukas, Adrian Martinez, Jesse Plemons, Fred Pohl, Alex Rodriguez, Amy Sedaris, J.K. Simmons, Courtenay Taylor, Michaela Watkins and Daniel Zolghadri.

No Activity is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Funny Or Die, Jungle and Gary Sanchez Productions, and is based on the Stan Original series of the same name produced by Jungle and is currently streaming exclusively on Stan.  The series is co-developed and executive produced by Trent O’Donnell and Patrick Brammall, alongside executive producers Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Jason Burrows and Joe Farrell.  Trent O’Donnell will direct all episodes. 

No Activity (US) premieres on Stan with two back-to-back episodes on November 20.
