Amazon declines Glenn Close comedy

Amazon is not proceeding with Sea Oak, a comedy featuring Glenn Close.

It was one of three comedy pilots the streaming giant rejected.

The other two are The Climb (by Diarra Kilpatrick) and Love You More (Bridget Everett, Michael Patrick King)

Still to be decided are One Mississippi, and the future of I Love Dick.

Amazon Studios has recently been shifting away from pilots toward straight-to-series orders. It recently made a programming decision to focus on big, genre dramas with a Lord of the Rings series already confirmed.
