Bryan Singer facing legal action over alleged rape

Hollywood director Bryan Singer is facing legal action surrounding an alleged incident in 2003. The claim comes just a week after he was fired from the biopic movie Bohemian Rhapsody.

Cesar Sanchez-Guzman has accused Singer of allegedly raping him as a 17 year old boy on a yacht in Seattle.

He claims Singer told him no one would believe him if he ever reported the incident, and that he could hire people capable of ruining someone’s reputation.

A Singer representative said he “categorically denies these allegations and will vehemently defend this lawsuit to the very end.”

“The attorney behind this lawsuit is the same lawyer who represented Michael Egan, the convicted felon who sued Bryan Singer in 2014,” the statement said.

“In the end, Egan was forced to dismiss that case once the facts came out and his story completely fell apart.

“Notwithstanding his track record, this same lawyer is coming after Bryan again. We are confident that this case will turn out the same way the Egan case did. And once Bryan prevails, he will pursue his own claims for malicious prosecution.”

Singer, who has directed such titles as House, Dirty Sexy Money, Legion and The Gifted, was recently fired from Bohemian Rhapsody, after being repeatedly absent from the set. He later said he was unable to make it to the set because he was caring for an ailing parent.
