Cricket delivers week to Nine

Ratings: The Ashes tops the second week of summer, with public broadcasters up slightly.

Cricket was the top drawcard on television all week, with The Ashes: Aus v Eng S3 pulling 1.11m viewers.

ABC and SBS both increased their share in the second week of summer, compared to the first, while three commercial networks dipped.

The first full week of ABC Comedy* programming was up on last week (which had 1 day with ABC2), but is still down 1 point on the last full week of ABC2*.

  1. all aussies like to watch aussies win so that is reflected in the ratings. It is a pity we have this half way review system when the truth is in the technology and mistakes can cost players millions. it is hard to find a current English player that would be anywhere in an aussie top eleven. — and stop the sledging, it is unnecessary when pure class speaks for itself.
