Airdate: Knightfall

US period drama Knightfall will have its debut on SBS next month.

The 10 part series stars Tom Cullen as Landry, leader of the Knights Templar, obsessed with finding the Holy Grail.

Filmed in Czech Republic and Croatia for the History channel (US), it debuted internationally in early December.

It begins with a double episode -of course!

Knightfall is the story of The Knights Templar, one of the most powerful entities in history, guardians of the Holy Grail and the road to Jerusalem, founders of the modern banking system and inspiration for Arthurian legends. The series chronicles the actual events leading up to and following the persecution, downfall and eventual burning at the stake of the Knights Templar. Stars Tom Cullen and Pádraic Delaney.
