No prizes for guessing that ABC’s New Year’s Eve Midnight Fireworks was the week’s top-rated show, pulling 1.48m viewers.
But it was the Big Bash League that helped TEN’s primary channel to win the week. It only missed the network share due to Nine having 3 multichannels to its 2.
TEN still managed to eclipse Seven for the week.
Outside of sport, news and NYE, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo was the best in Entertainment titles but at 664,000 viewers.

Should OzTAM really code ABC2 as ABC Comedy, considering it spends twice as many broadcast hours branded as ‘ABC Kids’?
Appreciate the oddity but there is no more ABC2. It usually takes a few weeks for such changes to be addressed but I would expect it will be ABC Comedy.
