Seven screens the 60th Annual Grammy Awards on Monday morning Live in Sydney & Melbourne.

It will be hosted by James Corden at Madison Square Garden, New York City.

This year’s nominations have been dominated by Jay-Z, who picked up eight nods including one for Album Of The Year where he’ll be up against Kendrick Lamar, who received seven. Other big shows are Bruno Mars (6 nominations), Childish Gambino (5), Khalid (5), No I.D. (5) and SZA (5).

Several Australian artists have also been recognised with Sia scoring a nomination in the Best Song Written For Visual Media category for her tune Never Give Up from the movie Lion.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will be vying for Best Music Film for One More Time With Feeling while Sydney trio Mansionair scored a nod in the Best Dance Recording category for their work on US duo Odesza’s track Line Of Sight. NB: Not all categories feature in the broadcast.

  1. Lots of promotion for CBS on Channel 7 and the Grammys, the new owners would be loving it. You would have thought 10 could have telecast it instead, despite if 7 already had the rights.

  2. I wonder if he’ll get confused think he is Ricky Gervais and end up having to apologise again? He has a track record of not being as funny as he thinks he is at the these events. The time with Sir Patrick Stewart was odd.
