It had to happen.
US TV is producing a telemovie based on Prince Harry & Meghan Markle.
The Lifetime project (isn’t it always Lifetime?) will be titled Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story, and chronicles the relationship between the US Suits star and British royalty.
Deadline reports it will examine the history of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the moment they met after being set up by friends, through their initial courtship when they were able to keep their romance under wraps, and ultimately the intense global media attention surrounding their relationship and Meghan’s life as a divorced American actress.
The movie is currently casting and tipped for a May premiere ahead of the royal wedding.
Given the two countries involved and the celebrity element, it was inevitable that this would be dramatised for television. Hope it’s better than 2011’s William & Kate: The Movie but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Cast the guy who posed as Harry in ‘I wanna Marry Harry’ to add some authenticity to the telemovie. The Yanks would instantly believe it’s him, you couldn’t get a better lookalike apparently. Lol.
