New UK drama Innocent premieres on ABC on Saturday.
The 2 part ITV drama stars Lee Ingleby (Our Zoo) as a man who fights to rebuild his shattered life after being imprisoned for the murder of his wife.
It also features Cold Feet‘s Hermione Norris.
This has screened in the Netherlands and currently in NZ, but yet to screen in the UK.
David Collins is unexpectedly acquitted on a technicality having served 7 years of a life sentence for the murder of his wife. He vows to bring to justice those who lied at his original trial & to see the real killer jailed.
8:30pm Saturday on ABC.

An enjoyable watch. One of the better British crime dramas in the past year and it had me guessing until the end. The tone and atmosphere was obviously inspired by “Broadchurch”. I take it the ABC is screening double episodes as this originally aired as a four part series in GB.
I first took notice of this actor in George Gently…but I like his work…this looks really good…
