Seven looks set to be screening all-Manu-Wednesdays when Manu’s American Road Trip premieres next week.
Following his Euro-sojourns, the MKR judge now travels through the American South on a cuisine cross-country trip.
Manu kicks off his epic road trip across the Deep South of America in Miami where he heads to Little Havana to find the best Cuban food in the US. In Florida’s Everglades, he puts a new twist on salt & pepper calamari by using alligator. From there he drives north to Georgia to take part in a civil war re-enactment where he uses turn of the century cookware to bake a peach & pecan pie. In the ultimate eating challenge, Manu takes on a giant burger in Atlanta and discovers the delights of Soul Food in “Sweet Home Alabama”. He heads to biscuit capital of the world in Mississippi and learns to “hand grab” catfish Redneck style.

Seven are scrapping the barrel. Won’t be watching.
Interesting. The French were some of the earliest Europeans to settle in parts of the south so Manu will feel at home, sort of.

He does.
I don’t do MKR….but have really liked Manu since his Ready Steady Cook days….
I enjoy these adventures he does…I will watch.
