World-famous psychic John Edward will appear in I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here next week.

A promo says he will give readings for the celebs in a “Psychics vs Sceptics” appearance, although it isn’t clear if he is staying in camp.

It follows the surprise announcement that Steve Price is headed back to South Africa, following falling ratings.

This season has already included several talking points from beyond the grave, including very personal details surrounding the late Charlotte Dawson.

But the addition of John Edward should help boost interest.

  1. Jackie was already alienating viewers who find this sort of thing deeply boring. When will they learn to look at what is appealing to the viewers and give more of that instead of flogging the dead horses.

  2. Edward is world-famous for appearing on the TV show Crossing Over, where he performed a cold reading act. He didn’t predict the future. He claimed to receive information about the past, in the form of vague images and clues, from the spirits of dead friends and relatives of members of the studio audience.

    Ten are rotating celebrities faster than spin bowlers in a T20 game.
