  1. Seriously, Muslims Like Us was excellent…very well done…a wonderful mix of individuals….I have never thought Muslims were all the same…as diverse as any other religious group….but I was really surprised at the the amazing contrasts in this house…..
These people discussing their views and their lives was really interesting…Thank you to them for doing this …..If you did not watch…you should…a real eye opener.

  2. Seems the gloss is coming off MKR. The format is looking stale. Having said that MAFS is tripe TV and how can people watch it amazes me. Has any of them ever married in real life yet???

  3. Looks like the Superglue on the 7 button on a few remotes in Perth is starting to come loose. Usually, in Perth, TEN beats Nine anywhere. TEN News (an hour earlier) beats 9 News, The Project beats ACA, then we see at 7:30 Nine beats Seven by doubling their audience (“Lead- In” theorists??). Perth is a strange one, where it’s the only place where Home & Away beats ACA.

      1. You have two news presenters, Rick and Sue, who have been on air together for 30+ years (Basil has also presented sport since 2000) against a rotating lineup on Nine. Monika Kos has been presenting Today Tonight for 20 years and Seven have always been good at including WA contestants on their reality shows something which Nine hasn’t always done.

  4. Hopefully 10 will start next year off with the strong performer Masterchef and give the ailing MKR a run for ts money. Then follow it with all the other reasonable performers like Bachelor etc. TV is all about habit forming and gaining momentum with strong content. I watched a bit of Celeb. last night and it is embarrassing. Unfortunately the hosts shtick doesn’t cut the mustard anymore especially Ms Morris.

  5. OMG I so agree with you. I guess it doesn’t help that three online articles (only on news.com.au) are about MAFS. TEN have tended to stick with their shows even if they don’t ‘rate’ well, whereas Seven and Nine tend to shaft those that don’t ‘rate’ well.

  6. Nine won last night’s demographics for the first time since the Winter Olympics started.

Not even Olympics for the while of prime-time (6pm-12am) across two channels, could do a better demographic % than what Nine pulled thanks to over 700k in 25-54s with Married!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. I’m surprised Squinters is broadcast, really feels like it should be a 2 minute clips online, it’s too restrictive and repetitive in the car, the whole thing is too rigid…

  8. It causes me no end of despair that 1.3m of my countrymen watched that manufactured MAFS nonsense. Meanwhile, a quality and highly rated US drama can only muster 225,000 viewers.

    1. Are the Big Brother rights up for grabs again? Wondering if Ten could head back to Dreamworld to revive Big Brother? Personally i would love to see it back on Ten with Gretel Killeen hosting.

      1. I agree. Ten needs to do something. Big Brother with Gretel would be awesome. Just make sure it is a close to the original one Ten did years ago though. Not the fluffy one Nine tried to do. As far as I am aware Dreamworld is still available.

    2. This is Us will do better on +28s. Ad funded drama on FTA is making less and less sense. Just think on TVOD you could pay $24/season to stream it ad free, as soon as it airs in the US.!

      1. Throughly enjoy TIS. Keep forgetting it’s on though. And TVT reminded me in this post, and I streamed it yesterday. It’s just showing viewers can’t commit to once a week dramas anymore – they seem to want to binge and given TIS finishes in the US soon we are just too far behind for many fans to wait. I’m happy to wait – at least it is airing for me after much speculation.
