According to UK reports, former butler to Princess Diana, Paul Burrell, is headed to I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
The 59-year-old was a contestant on the UK edition of the show back in 2004 where he placed as a runner-up following his extreme reaction to challenges.
Burrell acted as Princess Diana’s butler before her sudden death in August 1997. He has since written several books about her and has claimed that she called him her “rock” and “the only man she ever trusted”. That would make him the missing “author” that the show has teased.
Last night TEN indicated two Brits were coming including one who “knows royal secrets” and a “former queen,” following the shock departure of Anthony Mundine.
TEN also appears to still have not dropped its world champion nor its TV star in the jungle.

I guess they had to call in previous contestants because they didn’t expect two contestants to quit so early in the series. I am sure Burrell and Pattison were enlisted but not expected to appear so early in the series.
Ha! Turns out that somebody from Australian Princess wound up in the jungle after all. I predicted earlier on that one of the winners would be the “princess” to enter the jungle (or is the “princess” already on the show?).
Having previous contestants enter the competition is not fair on the others imo. Surely they could of found someone local
Oh so he was the author. That will be interesting.
The former queen is allegedly Vicky Pattison from Geordie Shore. She won the UK version in 2015 I think.
Mundine and Green were both world champions…. dunno if they count.
