  1. I have been a long time viewer of Escape to the Country. Tonight was the first time I’ve had the chance to watch the Australian version Escape from the City. Whilst l applaud the idea of this, why oh why does it have to be identical to the English version???
The Southern Highlands which were showcased tonight did show the countryside. My comments are :-
I am not familiar with towns being referred to villages. I live in a Victorian Country Town.
I found the presenter Simon boring to listen to he needs to speed up the way he speaks, unfortunately l found him irritating to listen to.
As l see it the presenters need to develop their own persona and not try so hard to mimic the English presenters.
    My opinion only.

  2. Well, I was looking forward to this but wont be watching the episodes with Bryce Holdaway on….he and the woman who co-hosted Location, Location, Location Australia are very annoying.

    1. I like Del, too. So this is the “special project” she mentioned as the reason for her leave from Breakfast.
Simon Marnie I am not so keen about. I don’t know what he looks like, but his voice repels me on Saturday mornings on the radio.
