TEN is now on the hunt for singles for its new dating show Blind Date, to be hosted by Julia Morris.

The series is based on the UK format, which Perfect Match also drew upon.

Blind Date is all about having a laugh and hopefully finding true love along the way,” a casting notice says.

Applicants must be 18 years or older and available for approximately 2 days in July in Sydney.

“During that time your reasonable flights, accommodation and meals will be provided by Playmaker.”

“If selected as a ‘winner’ in the episode you participate in, you may go on a short holiday within Australia with a chaperone who will accompany you and be present at all times.”

Just like Perfect Match!

Unlike Seven’s Take Me Out the show is also open to same-sex applicants.

  1. Agree enough with the dating shows and reality shows for that matter. Yes they rate and I do watch some of them but soon all there will be on tv is reality shows and the news.

  2. Apparently Seven also has a new dating show coming Bring Back The Ex. Impossible to count the number of dating shows. Enough already. Surely they will all start cannibalising each other.
