Dance Academy stars attend US film premiere

Dance Academy stars attended the North American premiere of Dance Academy: The Movie, this week in LA.

Xenia Goodwin, Miranda Otto, Dena Kaplan and Alicia Banit joined Producer Joanna Werner and Director Jeffrey Walker. A Q&A event hosted by Australians in Film was moderated by actor Phoebe Tonkin.

The movie written by Samantha Strauss, is released in the US and Canada across theatrical, digital and TV VOD platforms on March 2nd through distributor Cinedigm.

On Saturday, cast members will also participate in a special meet-and-greet at USA Varsity Spirit, which is holding the USA Spirit Nationals, USA Jr. Nationals and USA Collegiate Championships in Anaheim.

Dance Academy: The Movie was released theatrically in Australia and Europe in 2017, taking over $2.2M at the Australian Box Office.
