Homer Simpson, fake ID.

British driver tries to fool the fuzz, with a doozy of a fake.

Doh!

A British driver has used a fake Driver’s License with Homer Simpson’s likeness and ‘identity.’

Police in Milton Keynes, southern England, tweeted the fake license, noting, “Earlier this week, @tvprp’s PC Phillips stopped a car in Milton Keynes. When she tried to identify the driver’s ID, she found the below… The driver’s car was seized and he was reported for driving with no insurance and driving without a proper license.”

The fuzz clearly knew something was amiss.

After all, Homer Simpson actually lives at 742 Evergreen Terrace.

  1. In the years before you had to enter your PIN no into Eftpos machines you had to sign the docket. It was supposed to be checked against the signature on your credit card but nobody ever did that and it was common for people to sign as Homer Simpson. ACA did a story about it which resulted in the banks dumping the signature system and using PIN numbers as verification of credit card ID.
