The first season was always the best one for me, I think the show became steadily weaker in subsequent seasons trying to follow contemporary political attitudes in America as Francis Underwood steadily lost political control to Claire, Underwood’s demise due to his past history should have ended the show in season 3 as it did for the UK version, but now we will have a likely unsatisfying conclusion with no real sense of closure, I guess loyal viewers will have to wait and see.
Plenty of time for us to catch up. We’ve been hooked over the last month and are close to the end of season 2. It’s really quite excellent.
