Report: Transparent delayed, likely to return in 2019.
Production re-scheduled to the end of the year, following the firing of Jeffrey Tambor.
Transparent is not expected to return this year following the firing of Jeffrey Tambor.
The Hollywood Reporter notes production has been re-scheduled to begin at the end of the year, possibly in December.
That means the show is now unlikely to return in 2018.
It isn’t yet clear how creator Jill Soloway will address the absence of the lead actor and how it will continue with remaining cast, including Judith Light, Amy Landecker, Jay Duplass and Gaby Hoffmann.
The Amazon-produced series screens first in Australia on Stan.
