Cult animation Archer returns for its 9th season next month on the Comedy channel.

Known as Archer: “Danger Island”, this will screen same day as the US.

It is spring 1939, the Japanese are invading China, Germany just annexed Austria, and in the middle of this, seaplane pilot and semi-functioning alcoholic Sterling Archer is drinking, screwing, gambling, and generally bumbling around French Polynesia with a smart-ass parrot named Crackers. Welcome to Archer – Danger Island.

Thursdays from April 26 at 8.30pm on Comedy.

  2. Along with Brooklyn Nine-nine my favourite comedy on tv (well library DVD for me.)

    There were several instances of helpless laughter when I watched season 8 so I have high hopes. There is of course the small fear that it will be as bad as the terrible season 5.

    A pity that it is another small 8 episode season.
