Season 6 of Father Brown starring Mark Williams returns to ABC later this month, to replace Death in Paradise.

This season aired in the UK in December.

The charming Father Brown returns to solve more mysteries in the sleepy Cotswold village of Kembleford.

Based on the short stories by G K Chesterton, this series sees Father Brown (Mark Williams) investigating a suspicious death at a care home, and a local bowls match that quickly rolls out of control when it becomes a murder scene. Meanwhile, glamorous socialite Lady Felicia Montague (Nancy Carroll) returns to Kembleford and quickly gets wrapped up in a deadly encounter with a soviet spy. And when old foe Katherine Corven is suddenly released from prison, she comes back for revenge on Father Brown.

Series 6 commences on the day of Katherine Corven’s execution where she is unexpectedly exonerated and released, much to Father Brown, Mrs McCarthy and Bunty’s dismay.

Waiting outside Sonning Prison, Robin and Eddie from the Kembleford Gazette, push their way through the crowd of reporters to hear Katherine say that those who wronged her will answer to God…

7:30pm Saturday March 31 on ABC.

  1. What happened to the rule that all new BBC content would air first on BBC First then 12 months later on free to air. Has that rule changed? New Series currently airing in UK Requiem and Strike are not premiering on BBC First.
