Returning: Over the Black Dot

Indigenous NRL footy show returns to NITV soon, in a new Tuesday timeslot.

Indigenous NRL footy show, Over the Black Dot, returns to NITV soon, in a new permanent timeslot of Tuesday evenings at 8.30pm.

Djuro Sen, George Rose and Owen Craigie return as hosts. This year, the line-up will also include two rotating panellists, dual international athletes Timana Tahu and Bo de la Cruz plus special guest analysts and players to review and preview each round of the NRL.

NITV’s Head of Sport, Mark Ella said: “Our community are huge rugby league fans due to the many Indigenous players in the game, so it’s with great pride that Over the Black Dot is returning in 2018.

“In the new season we’ll be delivering exactly what NITV’s audience is asking for – in-depth footy analysis, player’s interviews and great entertainment through the Dot’s amusing segments, which will let viewers get to know players on a personal level. We’re building on the success of last year and can’t wait to show our community what’s in store!”

Back by popular demand, George Rose is hitting the streets with his light-hearted in-car interview segment, ‘Rolling with Rose’, providing a candid insight into the lives of some of the biggest players in the game.

This season also debuts a brand new segment – ‘Owen Craigie’s Hot Dot’, where Owen sits down with the who’s who of the rugby league community and chats about hot topics over the world’s hottest chillies. This segment is sure to bring plenty of laughs and maybe even a few tears.
