Commonwealth Games: April 6 highlights

On Friday there are nine gold medal events in the pool including the 4 x 100m Men’s freestyle final. Plus the Boomers, Opals and Diamonds take to the court. Beach Volleyball takes to the sand and here are Aussie track cyclists pedalling for gold.

SNAPSHOT: Australia’s star-studded men’s 4x100m freestyle relay team gets its chance to flex some muscle. Track Cycling sprint specialists Matthew Glaetzer and Stephanie Morton go for gold at the Anna Meares Velodrome. The Aussie Opals and Boomers get their basketball campaigns underway, the Diamonds play again, and what’s sure to be the Gold Coast’s sentimental favourite event- Beach Volleyball- makes its Commonwealth Games debut on Coolangatta Beach.
