Commonwealth Games: April 8 highlights

On Sunday it’s a swimming showdown in Men’s 100m freestyle final, the athletics action starts with men’s and women’s 100m semi finals and the Diamonds, Opals and Kookaburras fly the Aussie flag.

SNAPSHOT: Head to the pool for one of the most talked about events- the Men’s 100m Freestyle final- a great battle between Aussies Kyle Chalmers, Cam McEvoy, Jack Cartwright and the rest of the Commonwealth. The 100m track semi-finals ensure athletics action begins with a bang, plus the Diamonds in an almighty showdown with South Africa (Netball) and the Opals vs Canada (Women’s Basketball). With 31 medals on offer, it’s a massive day on the Gold Coast.
