“When We’re Old”

Ieva is only 24 years old but has already had a number of achievements as a professional singer. She started music education when she was six years old and took lessons in piano and pop music until she was fifteen. Ieva is no stranger to the Eurovision Family of Events as she had already participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest as a backing vocalist when she was fourteen years old.

Ieva’s solo career took off in 2012 when she finished second at The Voice of Lithuania and two years ago she took part in the Lithuanian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest where she reached the finals. This year she is back with When We’re Old which has a lot of meaning to her. The message of this song is that love can last forever, that it is the most powerful thing in this universe and that love can defeat all the fears that we may have.
