  1. I love Media Watch with Paul Barry. But I must say that Media Bites with Paul Barry is akin to Lee Lin Chin doing those bizarre comedy routines for Eurovision et al at SBS. Stick to your day jobs people. News and Comedy are very different things (unless handled by experts).

  2. I wonder if the combination of The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon might have had an impact against MKR rather than that tired old chestnut, The Voice. I’m slightly annoyed at Nine for once again bumping TBBT and YS. Those decision types must think the internet hasn’t been invented yet.

  3. Only a 15 minute program though-bit hard to compare with an hour or even half hour show-‘Media Watch’ also gets a number of repeats during the week on 2 as well.

  4. Ten should bring back HYBPA quick smart would do a lot better than 309,000 and Bachelor in Paradise would provide both a good lead in and some good content.

    1. Presumably middle Australia is to identify with the battlers / underdogs getting business tips. My view is that prdn values aren’t high-end enough or format strong enough for primetime as yet, but it works as grassroots telly.

    2. Having my boss involved in business mentoring and knowing a bit about it myself, The Mentor was a very dumbed down version of what goes on obviously made for commercial FTA TV. Those into business aren’t going to be attracted to the show while most of the general TV audience will not relate to it.

  5. Media watch deserves to be number 1.great show. Ive been watching it for many years.remember it was them that uncovered the cash for comment scandal with Laws and Jones. Ive found them to be a very honest show. They constantly criticize their own ABC shows as well
