Meryl Streep filming Big Little Lies 2

Nicole Kidman has released a “first look” image of Meryl Streep on the set of Big Little Lies season 2, currently filming in California.

“First day on the set with Meryl and ‘my’  darling boys!” she said on Instagram.

Streep is playing Kidman’s mother-in-law, Mary Louise Wright, the mother of Perry (played by Alexander Skarsgard in Season 1).

The second season also the return of Reece Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern and Zoë Kravitz.
