Netflix has ordered a new half hour comedy series, Dead to Me.
The 10 part series is described as a dark comedy about a powerful friendship that blossoms between a tightly wound widow and a free spirit with a shocking secret.
It is penned by writer Liz Feldman (2 Broke Girls, The Ellen DeGeneres Show) and is being produced by CBS Television Studios and Will Ferrell’s Gary Sanchez Productions, which was also a co-producer of No Activity with Jungle in the US.
There is no suggestion Ferrell will appear in the series.

Now let’s see: the title is “Dead To Me”; she’s a widow lady, he’s a ‘free spirit’, may be from the ‘other side’? Can’t they just call it The Ghost and Mrs. Muir and be done with it???
