Was she serious?

Rebel Wilson has floated the idea of being the next Bachelorette for TEN.

Appearing on The Project last night the Pitch Perfect star was praising TEN as the sole major media organisation not to try and join in the appeal by Bauer Media.

“After your plug for Channel TEN, they want you to be the next Bachelorette,” Peter Helliar said.

“I wouldn’t mind that,” Wilson replied.

“I’m not joking. I watched every episode of Sophie Monk. I’m the same age. I have the same problems as her.”

Wilson joked she would like Chris Pratt or Channing Tatum as potentials. Who can blame her?

  1. This wouldn’t work. She’d be too expensive, as someone mentioned, plus she spends most of the year in the US/overseas, so how can you have a relationship with someone, unless they’re a multi-millionaire themselves and can come to regularly visit you. Her agent would also advise against it.

  6. Unless she continues to donate her earnings to charity (or take no fee here), I doubt Ten could afford her for the series.But she would prompt this viewer to watch the show.
