Grey’s Anatomy has been renewed for a fifteenth season by ABC (US) now becoming the longest-running primetime drama in the history of the network.
The show is still pulling 7.7 million US viewers in Live+Same Day ratings.
“Grey’s Anatomy has a special place in my heart and millions of viewers feel the same way,” said Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment. “Thanks to fiercely loyal fans who have been on this journey since the beginning, and new generations of viewers who continue to discover the joy and drama of Grey Sloan Memorial, the show is as strong as ever.”
Creator Shonda Rhimes, who is also an executive producer on Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, For the People and the Grey’s spinoff Station 19, recently signed a multi-year production deal with Netflix.
Seven is currently airing Season 14 in Australia.

any news as to Law and Order SVU- i hope it breaks the record and goes to 21 seasons
IMO Grey’s has had its day. The storylines have been ordinary the past two seasons and with very few veteran cast members after this season, audiences may dwindle.
Unless things go south dramatically the show will be ongoing until Ellen Pompeo decides it’s time to stop or contract negotiations break down.
Ellen has just signed a new 2 year extension, worth $575,000US per episode. Not bad….
Hi david
any word yet on a new series of How to get away with Murder season 5 ?
Such a shame to hear that two of my favourites won’t be back next season. Contracts haven’t been renewed/sacked.
Is there any word on if 7 is getting the spin off Station 19? We’re still waiting for the Blacklist one Redemption.
