SBS drama Dead Lucky sells to Sundance

Upcoming SBS drama will screen in the US on Sundance Now streaming.

Upcoming SBS drama Dead Lucky has been sold to Sundance TV to screen on their subscription streaming service Sundance Now.

The four part drama, starring Rachel Griffiths, Yoson An and Mojean Aria is a fast-paced thriller about two feuding detectives hunting down a cop killer who is leaving a trail of broken lives across Sydney…including their own.

SBS Director of TV and Online Content Marshall Heald said, “SBS is incredibly excited at this early success for our upcoming drama series Dead Lucky, and congratulates the team at Subtext Pictures on the international sale to Sundance Now. Dead Lucky is an Australian story with universal appeal that gets to the heart of important social themes in the entertaining way SBS is renowned for. We can’t wait to premiere the series to Australian audiences first in July.”
