Tight race for Sunday ratings
Ratings: There was one tug of war in reality, and another in current affairs, but Seven clinched the night.

Seven dominated Sunday night with Seven News & My Kitchen Rules until 60 Minutes hit the front for Nine.
But it was a neck and neck battle between Seven & Nine all night.
At 1.16m viewers MKR led the reality battle, down on last Sunday’s 1.29m. The Voice was close behind at 1.06m also down slightly from 1.11m. Bachelor in Paradise with a 7:30 start drew 627,000, down on 667,000 but topped the 16-39 demo.
60 Minutes at 793,000 was ahead of Sunday Night‘s 747,000.
Grand Designs was the best for ABC outside its news, while SBS was locked in a battle with TEN after Bachelor wrapped.
Seven network won Sunday with 33.6% then Nine 31.0%, ABC 14.9%, TEN 13.6% and SBS 6.9%.
Seven News was #1 for Seven with 1.23m then My Kitchen Rules (1.16m) and Sunday Night (747,000). Crimes That Shook the World drew 324,000.
The Voice (1.06m) led for Nine followed by Nine News (1.03m), and 60 Minutes (793,000). I Shot My Parents pulled 317,000.
ABC News (693,000), Grand Designs (591,000), Midsomer Murders (382,000) and a Hard Quiz repeat (228,000) comprised ABC’s night.
Bachelor in Paradise (627,000) led for TEN followed by The Sunday Project (423,000 / 268,000), TEN Eyewitness News (249,000), Family Feud (224,000), an NCIS repeat (207,000) and SEAL Team (156,000).
On SBS it was The Celts (209,000), Capitalism: A Love Story (181,000) and SBS World News (171,000).
ABC KIDS’ Hey Duggee topped multichannels with 210,000.

Puzzled why NCIS was a repeat.
No episode to screen. Up to date with America and they had a week off
Lisa Wilkinson’s story on a recovering ice addict was very good. Lisa is excellent doing these types of interviews. I’d like to see her in her own weekly interview show.
They’re going to have to find something more for her to do, at the reported salary. Two nights a week or sometimes three isn’t going to cut it.
Seven News Perth: 248k, Nine News Perth: 80k. Ouch! 168k what a whipping.
But to be somewhat fair, 266k watched Fremantle vs. West Coast AFL derby in Perth, biggest audience in some years.
Seven only win because of their news dominance in Perth and mostly Adelaide. Everywhere else, it is Nine or very close!
Huh, Seven won in 4 of 5 markets by a landslide on Sunday, or did I read David’s ratings page wrong? Sydney was the only one won by Nein?
OK, sorry to clarify I was just looking at the news, not the entire evening.
