Airdate: LA to Vegas. Returning: Superstore

New US comedy LA to Vegas, set in a budget airline named Jackpot Airlines, begins on FOX8 from June 3rd.

The series features Dylan McDermott, Kim Matula, Ed Weeks and Nathan Lee Graham, but there are recurring roles from Dermot Mulroney, Josh Duhamel, Amy Landecker, & Don Johnson.

It aired in the US in January.

This will be preceded by Black-ish spin-off Grown-ish and the return of Superstore.

At 6:30pm Grown·ish is a spin-off of the award-winning ABC series Black-ish. The single-camera comedy follows the Johnsons’ eldest daughter Zoey (Yara Shahidi) as she heads off to college and begins her journey to adulthood, but quickly discovers that not everything goes her way once she leaves the nest.

At 7:00pm new double episodes of Superstore – America Ferrera (Ugly Betty) and Ben Feldman (Mad Men, A to Z) star in this hilarious workplace comedy about a unique family of employees at a supersized megastore. Superstore centres around Amy (Ferrera), the store’s most stalwart employee as well as the glue holding the place together, and Jonah (Feldman), a dreamer determined to prove work doesn’t have to be boring.

At 8:00pm brand new side-splitting series LA to Vegas – is a workplace comedy about an airline crew and the eccentric passengers who, every weekend, take the round-trip flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas with one goal in mind – to come back a winner. It won’t be easy, but this unlikely group of miscreants and dreamers will eventually go from being strangers on a plane to a supportive, if unconventional, family…well, at least from Friday to Sunday.
