“The Bluth family is finally back together,” says Ron Howard in a 5th season trailer for Arrested Development.

The cast includes the return of Jeffrey Tambor who has been subject of sexual misconduct allegations on Transparent, but the show’s team has remained supportive.

In a lengthy interview with the Hollywood Reporter he acknowledges being difficult on set, but denies harassment allegations, saying, “I did raise my voice at times, I was moody at times, there were times when I was tactless. But as for the other stuff, absolutely not.”

“In making and promoting seasons four and five of Arrested Development,” Netflix boss Ted Sarandos says, “Jeffrey has always been totally professional.”

Updated: Comedy Channel is yet to announce an airdate for Australia. An earlier report indicating a Netflix airdate was incorrect.

  1. Has it been confirmed that this will air in Australia on Netflix? Wasn’t there some deal with the Comedy Channel for first run rights to Arrested Development?
