New US comedy LA to Vegas has been axed by FOX after just one season.
The series, about a budget airline, is due to premiere in Australia on FOX8 on June 3rd.
Co-star Amir Talai shared the news via Twitter.
I love you so much #LAtoVegas fans. That's why it breaks my heart to tell you that our show is not coming back. I don't have an explanation for you, but it doesn't actually matter. It's done. I'm gonna miss our #LAtoVegas family so much, and that includes you. pic.twitter.com/vO3sFSiTmi

The show averaged 2.31m viewers for initial airings, improving to 3.49m within a week of delayed viewing. Its chances of renewal started looking up back in January when the network ordered three additional episodes, bringing its total to 15.

Really not surprised after Fox cancelled most of their comedies. Do they even have any left now?
Fox axed their 4 edgy single camera comedies. Kept their animated shows and The Orville. They picked up two pilots and Last Man Standing from ABC’s discard pile, leaving them with one less comedy.
The trailer for this was vastly funnier than the trailers for future fox (US) comedies Rel and the Cool Kids.
They are probably making a mistake.
Sad about this but not surprised. I think the first half of the season was stronger.
