Carlotta exits Studio 10 family

Another face farewells TEN's morning show after 4 years as a panel regular.

LGBT pioneer and former showgirl Carlotta has signalled her exit as a regular on the Studio 10 panel.

On Facebook she wrote, “Thank you all for the support from my exit from Studio 10. I wish the show the greatest success in the future as I had the most wonderful time working on it for the last 4 (years). Cheers Lovies.”

Carlotta has been part of the Studio 10 family with regular appearances on the panel as a guest presenter.

It isn’t clear if the decision was hers or a move by producers.

Her departure follows the recent exit of original co-hosts Ita Buttrose and Jessica Rowe.

Studio 10 has been in the headlines of late for the backstage tension between Buttrose and veteran Denise Drysdale, whilst former exec producer Rob McKnight is locked in a legal battle with the network.

On Facebook McKnight wrote, “I’m extremely disappointed to read this. Carlotta was an extended part of the Studio 10 family and her loss will be enormous for the viewers of the show, they really loved her.”

Last week TEN confirmed Denise Scott and Angela Bishop would replace Buttrose and Rowe.

  1. Perhaps before Grant Denyer’s game show is rested, it could finish off with a dramatic special – ‘Family Feud: the Studio 10 Family Edition’.
